Financial Stability Reports
The Central Bank's views and concerns on financial stability are communicated to the public in the form of an annual Financial Stability Report (FSR). This publication reviews the performance of the financial sector, examines latest developments in the macro-financial environment and discusses stability issues on the domestic, regional and international front. The FSR evaluates vulnerabilities of, and risks to, the domestic financial sectors, and outlines courses of action and policies taken by the Central Bank in addressing any issues. The aim of the FSR is to help the public, market participants and authorities better evaluate financial risks, thereby promoting a more informed discussion on the strengths and weaknesses of the domestic financial system and efforts to improve its resilience. The inaugural edition was published in September 2008 and the FSR is now produced annually.
