Ready, set, Feel!

The first step to authenticate a note is to feel it. Polymer notes are made of plastic and feel smoother than paper. Run your fingers over the bottom corner of the note to feel the raised dots in the shape of an O.

This week we explore the security features of the $50 note in 3 short videos.

Take a Look!

Look carefully at the TT$50 polymer bank note to observe its security features. When you hold the note up to the light, you will see:

1) A clear window that can be seen from the front and back of the note.
2) The number 50 appearing in the blue print.

Tilt
Tilt the note – As you move the note around, you will see areas with a shimmering gold ink.
