Objectives of the Request

The Bank is inviting interested and suitably qualified parties to submit proposals for the provision of Hospitality Attendant Services. These Services encompass the provision of hot and cold beverages in a professional and courteous manner to the Bank’s staff and guests. The Services are to be provided between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

The duration of the contract period shall be three (3) years. The Bank will provide all canteen items, equipment, cutlery and crockery required for the provision of the service

Scope of Works
  • Prepare and serve cold and hot beverages to the Executive, Senior Management, Managers, and Specialists.
  • On a daily basis, prepare and set up tea trolleys with a full complement of utensils and canteen items for non-managerial staff.
  • Monitor, replenish, and sanitize all tea stations on a daily basis.
  • Collect and deliver lunch servings to Executive, Senior Management, Managers, and Specialists at meetings as needed, in accordance with the automation process.
  • As requested, prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and meals for meetings and conferences.
  • Monitor and manage inventory stock to ensure that an adequate amount of service utensils, cutlery, crockery, and consumable supplies are available.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory record.
  • Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) measures for consumables inventory management.
  • Ensure that the kitchenettes, including the interior and exterior surfaces of all appliances, trolleys, countertops, sinks, and drain boards, are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Be responsible to the Bank for the care and upkeep of all kitchen utensils, small appliances, and implements, including glass, crockery, and cutlery made available by the Bank for the Hospitality Attendant Services.
  • Adhere to all health standards and protocols, including COVID-19 measures.
  • Perform any other related duties requested by the Bank.

STEP 1: REGISTERING TO PARTICIPATE IN CBTT’S E-TENDER PLATFORM:
The Bank invites interested Vendors to register on its eBoxTENDERS platform to participate in the CBTT Tendering process by February 3, 2023.

Note: Please register using your company’s group e-mail address for easy communication.

Registration does not guarantee any contract with CBTT. Once registered, you will be invited to submit documents for review through our Vendor Qualification process to qualify to do business with the Bank.

STEP 2: VENDOR QUALIFICATION PROCESS
Minimum Requirements:

(a) Certificate of Registration for Business or Incorporation, as applicable;
(b) Most recent Annual Return/Change of Directors.
(c) Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate, as applicable;
(d) Value Added Tax (VAT) Clearance Certificate or Exemption Letter.
(e) Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) Clearance Certificate; and
(f) National Insurance Board (NIB) Compliance Certificate
(g) Incident and Hazard reporting system/process
(h) Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years or financial statements accompanied by an Accountant’s Report issued by a firm or practitioner with a valid practicing certificate (issued by the local accounting body – Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT)): if audited financial statements are not available

Note: Only vendors that are registered and qualified on the eBox platform, by February 15, 2023, will receive invitations to tender. Vendors are free to continue the qualification process for future opportunities. We trust all courtesies will be extended to our representatives as we seek to serve you better.
