On November 7, 2025, the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago registered WamNow Technologies Limited (WamNow) to carry on the business of an EMoney Issuer in Trinidad and Tobago using its digital wallet app, Wam (https://wam.money/). This follows the successful completion of its provisional registration period, which ended on November 6, 2025.

In keeping with the Bank’s commitment to the development of the country’s human capital, students pursuing postgraduate degrees at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus are invited annually to apply for the De La Rue Scholarship. Each year, two scholarships are jointly awarded by the Central Bank and De La Rue, United Kingdom.
