“From Chanterelle to Calypsonian” is the Museum’s first Exhibition for 2025, which recognises Women’s Contribution to the Calypso tradition.

As part of the activities of the exhibition, Nimah Muwakil-Zakuri, Senior Curator and Dr. Rudolph Ottley, founder of the Divas Calypso Cabaret International appeared on TV6’s Morning Edition on March 6, 2025, to share more on the collaboration.

In November, our 60th Anniversary celebrations took a solemn route to honour the loved ones we lost. In a heartfelt candlelight tribute, we gathered to reflect on their memories and the profound impact they had on our lives and our organisation.

We cherished the moments shared and the legacy they left behind, by lighting candles to symbolise the eternal glow of their spirit within us.

Although it was a solemn time, we were happy to reflect, remember and honour our CBTT colleagues, friends and family.
